Michigan, Missouri, and back to Virginia

After my month-long trip aboard the HOLLYHOCK in Michigan, I went to Kirkwood, Missouri to meet Kirkwood's family.  I really enjoyed Missouri and I even bought an antique railroad lock for my Lovelock, Nevada plan.  :)  I just have to get Kirkwood & my names engraved on it, and then we will plan our trip.

While in Missouri I discovered three amazing things: spiggots that pour boiling water, tea from Teavana, and a magical tea cup from Teavana that brews tea...doesn't sound magical, but it is.  The tea is called Maharaja Chai Oolong, and it's one of my favorite teas now (second only to the Rosehip & Raspberry House tea at Tea @ 1024 in Honolulu). 

Now I'm back in VA and enjoying a relaxing break from travel.  I have field hockey games every weekend again, and am looking forward to hanging out regularly with Lisa P., Jenn, Katy Ray, and Steph (among all the other wonderful DC folks).  In exciting news, Katy Ray and I are getting together with Belgian Ysabel to have French speaking brunches...or tea meetings...either way, I'm tres content!
