I just got my new assignment! I'll be the OPS on CGC DAUNTLESS in Galveston, TX! I'm so excited to live closer to Carrie & Margaret, and I'm fairly certain that the weather down south will agree with me for a couple of years. I got so sick of winter this year that I'm ready to do without it for 2 runs.
I'll have to break out my cowboy boots and surfboard! :) The only downside is the distance from family and Kirkwood. Charlie and Ginsu will definitely be sad, but I will try to make it up to them with frequent visits and more bites of my food.
